There are a few important things to keep in mind when exchanging a product, you purchased in store or online from The Hemp Social:
- You have 7 calendar days to exchange an item from the date you received it.
- Must have a receipt of purchase present to return or exchange.
- Only items that have been purchased directly from The Hemp Social, either online or at a Hemp Social Retail Store, can be returned to The Hemp Social.
- Please ensure that the item you are exchanging is in its original packaging unopened and in the same condition it was purchased.
- Refunds on products purchased from The Hemp Social will be issued to you as store credit to your account.
Once we receive your item, a refund is initiated immediately. If you canceled a pickup item, and you were billed for it, we initiate your refund immediately after you submit your cancellation request. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method:
- If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within 24-72 hours receipt of the returned item or cancellation request. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.
- Refunds on products purchased from The Hemp Social using an Hemp Social gift card will be issued to you as an Hemp Social Gift Card in person or store credit to your account.
We take great care in ensuring that your products are dispatched in optimal condition. However, during the hot summer months, there is a risk that certain items may melt in transit due to high temperatures. Once your package leaves our facility and is in the hands of the courier, we are unable to control the environmental conditions it encounters.
To safeguard against any potential melting, we recommend considering the weather and choosing expedited shipping options with additional cooling packaging if available. Please note that we do not offer refunds or replacements for products that have melted or been damaged in transit, as this is beyond our control.
